The inn was designed by Hideyuki Hiramoto,
who worked in Italy and is now based in Tokyo,
engaging in borderless design from architectural design
to interior and product design.

Since 2002, he has been running Hiramoto Design Studio.
He has been involved in a comprehensive range of work
from branding construction to design,
mainly for commercial facilities such as hotels. For Kasho-Gyoen,
he was involved in the hotel concept from the very beginning
and designed the interior and architecture based on the concept.
Not only the architecture and interior design,
but also the furniture and decorations are designed with the concept
in mind by traveling around the neighborhood in search of the right pieces.
